A quick brainstorm for Internet. You can hear some approximation of this in the high piano bits on the final recording—I ended up not making that version nearly as synth-poppy as I'd originally intended. I might do another recording of it some time; it seems like it has a fair amount of meme potential, if presented to the right bits of the web in an appropriately addictive candy-covered package.

At this point, the album was substantially written, and notes about tweaks and additions and bits of embellishment and who knows what else supplant the whole-song dumps that held court earlier in the notebook. At some point, it occurred to me that, despite my leave-some-blank-space plan, it'd make more sense to make additions later in the book, where I'd notice them as additions flipping through instead of glossing over the new stuff clustered on the same page as old stuff I'd thought about a dozen time already.
