Portrait of an abandoned idea. Having watched the post-arraignment press conference given by the two artist guys who were (at least for a while) the center attention in the Boston Mooninites Bomb Scare, I was struck by what surreal conversational gambits it contained, out of context. Here's two men spending 7 minutes refusing to talk to the press about anything but 70s hairstyles, and the press corps more or less failing outright to display any adaptability to the situation.

I had a lot of half-formed ideas for how to put this together—I was thinking of doing some sort of electronic track, maybe take a shot at a Propellorheads sort of thing, using good vocal takes from the press conference as the meat.

But I never got around to it, and clearly never wrote down any of those ideas. Which is a shame, because I obviously thought I was going to really work this song out. Really: take a look at the next page...
