I have been doing a lot of work in the run-up to the release of the Metafilter Compilation Album—most of which is now visible at (and, for that matter, consists of) the official website, meficomp.com.
And I have neglecting pretty much everything else. The swapmeet, and pedestria (barely started and already neglected), and the briefly renewed Aural Times (back indeed)—to say nothing of this blog itself.
Mea culpa.
But, really, you should go take a look at meficomp if you haven’t already. It has been gussied up like crazy. I’ve got artist profiles and music samples, I’ve got an as-it-happens blog of the final stages of production and the run up to release: it’s a grand old time. And I’ll probably keep posting there regularly for a the next while, so there’s that.
Also, buy the album. That would be good as well.
Speaking of the meficomp, my buddy wants to order like six or seven copies so that he can give it out as Christmas presents, but you can only order one at a time through the website. Is there a way of ordering multiple copies at once?
It seems to me that Josh Millard has broken up with the Internet. Weep for the failed relationship. Wonder at the cause for the separation. Pray that one day, against all expectations, the various sites of the J.M. Empire will rise up once again!
Hi…you contacted me a few weeks ago to ask about my address (my MeFi handle is The Card Cheat), but I still haven’t received the CDs I ordered. Should I be worried, or are they still in the process of being sent out? Thanks in advance.
