I'm 30 weeks pregnant with my third daughter, and am actually considering the name Lessa for this one! For that exact reason! I've been a fan of the Pern series since I discovered them at nine, and actually managed to hook MY mother on them! When I told her that I thought Lessa would be a good name, she tried to convince me to name her Menolly! I said that was pushing it . . . Now I only need to convince Daddy . . . It would have been Piemur. Heh, I have a huge signed piece of art from one of her signings. I need to get it framed. Part of me wants to put it on e-bay after she dies (she's like 90) but another part wants to hold onto it forever. I love her books and reread all of them every few years.
